Customers of Condesys Consulting are public administrations and private companies, in short, all institutions that require smart infrastructure and environmental data management. The wide range of possible applications of "Smart City" data management requires a project-oriented approach. In a one-day assessment, needs and situation are first recorded and a rough project plan is outlined.

Our structured, standardized projects make it possible to start with "Smart City" data management after a short time: BryteCube 3.0 is an optimized platform that builds up the entire relevant virtual data world consistently and networked on the basis of a single data model. BryteCube 3.0 is easy to use. Power users at the customer's site are able to set up new business cases in BryteCube 3.0 after training. The whole environment is maintained by us, with a support hotline.

Assessment

Where do we stand with our infrastructure and environmental data management?

The first step in a project in the field of infrastructure and environmental data management is a single-day assessment. In a workshop, an analysis of the current situation is performed and the scope of the project is determined. Together, a goal of the project is formulated and the necessary milestones are outlined. An initial analysis of the respective business cases, the data situation and the relevant data sources is carried out. At the end of the workshop the participants have defined a rough road map. The results are recorded in a document.

Project

Who will show me the solution?

The needs of customers in infrastructure and environmental data management are usually very different and require an individual approach within the framework of an implementation project. Based on Condesys Consulting's many years of experience, we have defined a structured, standardised approach that quickly leads to results.

The core of our solution offering is a model-driven geodatabase architecture: applications are generated directly from the description of data and processes. This allows for massive savings in complex information systems, such as infrastructure and environmental data management.

Condesys Consulting has 20 years of experience with such model-driven geodatabase solutions and has developed a catalogue of 15 typical solution patterns for infrastructure and environmental data management. In the project we work out the requirements for the respective solution together with our customers and map them to the prefabricated solution patterns. Among others, the following requirements are covered:

  • Uniform core data model for all object types
  • Model-driven extension of the core data model for specific object types
  • System independent identifiers
  • Qualified relationships between object types
  • Object lifecycle management and historization
  • Multiple geometries for one object
  • Generic measurement data and measurement programs for any object
  • Operator and operator-object relationships for user and rights management down to object level
  • Task, resource and project management
  • Multilingualism of the data and web interfaces
  • Metadata system for all elements of the application

This model-driven approach, based on prefabricated solution patterns, can save up to 80% of development costs compared to traditional custom development.

All data and processes necessary for the respective solution are mapped on a single, uniform data model. Users access the system via the web on the basis of automatically generated, uniform query masks. In addition, new requirements can be mapped and integrated into the system very easily and without coding. In a nutshell: Condesys customers not only get a solution tailored to their needs very quickly and cost-effectively - the solution is also open for future requirements.

Development of Know-How

How do our employees become successful?

Solutions based on BryteCube 3.0 are fast and intuitive for users. Usually users are already involved in the project phase, so that their needs can be mapped exactly. As a result, an introduction of only half a day is usually necessary.

Power users should be able to map new requirements in BryteCube 3.0. A training of two days is planned for this.

For data integration, ETL (extract - transform - load) and the consolidation of databases, we offer courses on FME at all levels. As co-developers of the FME API, we know this universal data transformation tool inside out. So no questions remain unresolved.

Support

How do we create continuous benefit?

BryteCube 3.0 solutions are extremely robust and low maintenance. However, if something still does not work or if questions arise, it is important to be able to fall back quickly on competent specialists. For this purpose, the customers of Condesys Consulting have their individualised support package specifically for their requirements.

To prevent support cases from escalating in the first place, our support packages include regular meetings with our customers on operation, maintenance and new requirements - the regular health check for a sustainable use and further development of your "Smart City" data management system.
